Dowden brings more than eight years of experience in the London insurance and reinsurance market, with expertise covering client management, broking and placement across a range of reinsurance structures and short-tail lines.
Her recent work includes London catastrophe placements for direct and facultative portfolios, European retrocession programmes, and London market property quota share business. She joins Willis Re from Price Forbes Re, where she worked as a Broker in the Property Treaty team, the outlet said.
Willis Re board member Lucy Clarke said the firm welcomed Dowden’s track record and market expertise, adding she is expected to support continued client service and delivery of outcomes.
