Peak Re names Sanjiv Agarwal Head of Operations

Peak Re, a global reinsurance company serving insurance and financial services clients, has appointed Sanjiv Agarwal as Head of Operations.
The appointment comes as the company’s growth and transformation strategy took effect on 1 September 2026, and Agarwal will be based in Hong Kong. He brings nearly 30 years of experience across operations, transformation, technology, and people leadership in financial services.
Agarwal’s responsibilities include Peak Re’s operations functions, covering Technical Accounting, Claims, and Technology. The company said he will work across teams to support operational effectiveness, develop capabilities, and help deliver Peak Re’s strategic objectives.
The appointment follows Peak Re’s recent hiring of Nattakorn Wattanaumphaipong as Global Head of Distribution and Partnerships, as part of its broader capability build-out, according to Reinsurance News.
