Eastwind begins construction on 264-unit luxury apartments in Melbourne, Fla.
The project follows Eastwind’s acquisition of a 17-acre site and uses a $45.5 million TD construction loan, with first units targeted for late 2027 and full completion by mid-2028.
Eastwind Development has started construction of The Aston at Longleaf, a 264-unit luxury apartment community on Preserve Drive in Melbourne, Florida, according to ConnectCRE.
ConnectCRE reports that the construction start comes right after Eastwind closed on the acquisition of the 17-acre project site and secured a $45.5 million construction loan from TD.
The project is targeting delivery of the first units in late 2027, with full project completion expected by mid-2028, and the team includes FaverGray as general contractor, FK Architecture as project architect, and Kimley-Horn as project engineer.
Amenities planned for the community include a 10,000-square-foot clubhouse, fitness and coworking space, a resort-style swimming pool with private cabanas, and outdoor features such as an outdoor kitchen, fire pit, yoga lawn, and games lawn, ConnectCRE added.
