Iris Cheung appointed Head of L&H reinsurance for Hong Kong and Taiwan
The role takes effect 1 November 2026, with Cheung overseeing Swiss Re’s Life and Health Reinsurance business across Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Global reinsurer Swiss Re has named Iris Cheung as its Head of Life and Health Reinsurance for Hong Kong and Taiwan, effective 1 November 2026, according to Reinsurance News.
Cheung brings more than two decades of experience across advisory, finance, strategy, operations, and client management. She joined Swiss Re in 2011 and has spent 15 years at the company, most recently leading strategic client relationships across APAC as a Key Account Manager within the Global team.
Before joining Swiss Re, Cheung worked at KPMG for five years, the outlet said. Her appointment is part of Swiss Re’s leadership bench for the Life and Health Reinsurance segment in the region.
