Carvana stock trades near $74 after CVNA highlights in Q2 letter
Octahedron Capital said Carvana is a top five position as of Aug. 31, while noting the used-car retailer closed at $74.72 on Sept. 8.
Octahedron Capital, a growth-focused investment firm, pointed to Carvana Co. in its Q2 2026 investor letter, describing the used-car retailer as a public-market opportunity amid a market narrative dominated by AI.
The firm’s letter highlights that Carvana operates an e-commerce platform and is “disrupting” the US used-car industry, which it estimates at roughly $1.0 trillion.
Carvana shares closed at $74.72 on Sept. 8, the letter said, with the stock up 2.32% over the past year and up 3.09% over the prior month. It also cited a market capitalization of $82.82 billion and a 52-week trading range of $54.46 to $97.38.
Octahedron Capital also stated that Carvana is among its top five holdings as of Aug. 31, alongside Intel, Nubank, Meta, and Amazon. The firm said its strategy saw a rebound in August after a correlated sell-off earlier in 2026, helping stabilize performance through risk management.
