Christian Dunleavy set to become CEO of Conduit Holdings in 2027

The transition starts 1 March 2027, when Neil Eckert steps down as CEO and leaves the Conduit board to join Willis Re.

Conduit Holdings, the parent company of Bermuda-based reinsurer Conduit Re, said Christian Dunleavy will become CEO and join the board as an Executive Director on 1 March 2027, succeeding Neil Eckert.

Eckert will step down from both roles to join Willis Re, a specialist global reinsurance broking and advisory business, as part of the company’s leadership succession plan.

Conduit said Dunleavy has more than 25 years of reinsurance experience, including joining Aspen in 2015 as Global Head of Property Catastrophe Reinsurance and later serving in senior leadership roles, most recently CEO of Aspen Bermuda Limited.

The reinsurer noted that Eckert founded Conduit in 2020 and later became CEO in May 2025, while Conduit’s board chair said Dunleavy was selected for his underwriting track record, leadership, and strategic execution.
