Robinhood Chain fees hit a $6 million daily record on higher DEX use

Fees jumped from about $1.4 million in the prior week to roughly $25 million over seven days, a 17x increase.

Robinhood Chain generated a record single-day level of $6 million in fees on Friday, Sept. 4, according to data highlighted by The Block. The outlet said fees over the prior seven days totaled about $25 million, compared with roughly $1.4 million the week before.

The sharp fee increase coincided with rising decentralized exchange activity. The Block reported total DEX volume reached $12.4 billion for the week, more than double the prior week’s total.

The surge is tied to Pons, which the outlet described as Robinhood Chain’s leading token launchpad. The Block said Pons accounted for nearly $6 million in fees on Sept. 3, surpassing what Pump.fun and Hyperliquid generated on the same day.

The Block also cited PONS token performance and tokenomics, including that the PONS token reached an all-time high valuation of over $970 million on Sept. 5 and was up more than 200% over the prior week. It added that about 80% of Pons revenue goes toward token buybacks, with over 28% of the PONS supply burnt so far.
