James Day, who joins from MS Amlin, brings about two decades of experience in global and North American property treaty reinsurance, including both non-proportional and proportional lines.
Antares Global, an international specialty insurance and reinsurance group, appointed James Day as Property Treaty Underwriter for Reinsurance to strengthen its reinsurance team, according to Reinsurance News.
Day joins from MS Amlin and has two decades of industry experience, specializing in global and North American property treaty business across both non-proportional and proportional reinsurance.
The appointment is part of Antares Global’s investment in reinsurance capabilities as it expands the depth, breadth, and accessibility of its underwriting platform, and it will report to Mat Storr, Head of Reinsurance.
Antares said Day’s hire is intended to reinforce its integrated reinsurance proposition across Antares Re and Syndicate 1274, aiming to deliver coordinated, cross-class solutions and a seamless client experience.
