Vaxcyte CEO sells 6,289 shares to cover tax withholding
The SEC Form 4 pegs the weighted average sale price at $61.20, with shares valued at $61.58 at the September 2 close.
Vaxcyte CEO Grant Pickering disposed of 6,289 shares of the company’s common stock in a non-discretionary transaction, according to an SEC Form 4 filing cited by Yahoo Finance.
The outlet said the sale was carried out to satisfy tax withholding obligations tied to the vesting of restricted stock units, with the transaction’s value based on a weighted average sale price of $61.20.
Following the September 2 market close, the shares were valued at $61.58, and Vaxcyte common stock delivered 95.0% total return over the 12-month period ending on the August 31 transaction date, according to the report.
Yahoo Finance also noted that Vaxcyte is advancing VAX-24, an experimental 24-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine in trials aimed at invasive pneumococcal disease and pneumonia.
