Aon hires Ignacio Llobet as Senior Treaty Broker
The appointment places Llobet in Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions Iberia team, drawing on more than two decades of experience across Latin America and Iberian insurance markets.
Aon, a global insurance and reinsurance broker and risk advisor, has appointed Ignacio Llobet as Senior Treaty Broker within its Reinsurance Solutions Iberia unit.
According to the firm, Llobet brings over two decades of experience in insurance and reinsurance, with deep expertise in Latin American and Iberian markets. His background includes roles at W.R. Berkley Corporation through junior underwriter and surety training programs, later work at Berkley International for about 15 years, and more than three years with Gallagher Re as divisional director, reinsurance broker, and senior broker.
In a statement, Aon said Llobet’s market knowledge and industry relationships are expected to strengthen its ability to help clients navigate a more complex risk environment, as the company continues investing in talent to support evolving client needs.
