Hyundai is expected to outsell Ford in the third quarter

CNBC Markets reports that Hyundai is expected to sell more units than Ford in the third quarter, as Detroit automakers face pressure in the hybrid segment.

According to Cox analysts cited by CNBC Markets, Ford and General Motors are seeing sales lag because they have relatively few hybrid vehicles available, leaving them less competitive versus Hyundai.
