Prosus overhauls leadership to build AI-focused product strategy
Prosus said its FY26 ecosystem revenue rose 57% to $9.7 billion as it shifts from a passive investor toward operating AI-powered consumer platforms.
Prosus is restructuring its leadership to reposition itself as an AI and technology operator, with AI strategy centered on using data from the companies and platforms across its portfolio, according to Yahoo Finance.
The Amsterdam-listed group said its shares rose roughly 4% to 6% after it unveiled a senior leadership structure focused on AI, technology, and product development.
Under the changes, Euro Beinat, who has led Prosus's AI and data-science operations since 2018, becomes Chief AI Officer, responsible for building what the company wants to become a leading European AI laboratory.
Prosus also promoted Paul van der Boor from vice president of AI to Chief Technology Officer, and added WeTransfer co-founder Ronald Hans, also known as Nalden, as Chief Product Officer, with responsibilities split among AI research, technology infrastructure, and turning AI into customer and merchant products.
The executives will work on an AI strategy based on data generated by roughly one billion customers using businesses including iFood, OLX, PayU, and Just Eat Takeaway.com, with the company targeting products across food delivery, fintech, classifieds, and online marketplaces.
