Quest Diagnostics shares near 52-week high as stock outperforms Nasdaq
The stock hit a 52-week high of $248.84 last session, gaining 25.6% over three months versus the Nasdaq Composite’s 2.3%.
Quest Diagnostics (DGX) has been trading near a record level, with shares touching their 52-week high of $248.84 in the last trading session, according to Yahoo Finance.
The outlet says DGX has outperformed major benchmarks over multiple time frames. Over the past three months, the stock gained 25.6%, compared with the Nasdaq Composite’s 2.3% rise in the same period.
On a longer horizon, DGX is up 41.1% year to date and has risen 33.4% over the past 52 weeks, outpacing the Nasdaq Composite’s 16.7% YTD and 19.8% one-year returns.
Yahoo Finance attributes the relative strength to steady growth in core routine testing and expansion in higher-margin advanced diagnostics, citing accelerating demand for specialized tests including Alzheimer’s blood tests, cardiometabolic health panels, and liver-fibrosis screenings.
