Circle and Tether blacklisted a wallet tied to Bitget heist
The wallet contains about $318,000 in USDT and USDC, but most stolen funds are in ether and cannot be frozen.
Circle and Tether blacklisted a wallet holding roughly $318,000 in USDT and USDC after a Bitget crypto heist, according to CoinDesk.
CoinDesk reported that most of the stolen funds are denominated in ether, and that ether cannot be frozen even though the stablecoin wallet was blacklisted.
