Rilea Group begins Mohawk at Wynwood, a 300-unit rental project

Rilea Group has broken ground on the Mohawk at Wynwood, a 300-residence mixed-use rental development located at 50 NE 29th St, according to ConnectCRE.
The project features 12-story and eight-story residential towers with 300 apartments, plus 29,118 square feet of ground-floor retail arranged around an open-air, cobblestone pedestrian paseo connecting Northeast 28th and 29th streets.
ConnectCRE said the development is being built by Coastal Construction and designed by Deforma Studio, with construction financing provided by Nuveen Green Capital and ABANCA.
The Mohawk is slated for completion in 2029, and its ground-floor retail is for sale with units ranging from 642 to 2,544 square feet, ConnectCRE reported.
