NTHM Thematic Rotation ETF index rebalance adds GLP-1 and midstream energy
GLP-1 weight loss drug manufacturers will account for 14.4% of the index across 18 holdings after the change.
ETF Trends reports that the latest rebalance of VettaFi’s Thematic Rotation Quality Momentum Screened Index (TQRMS), tracked by the NBI Thematic Rotation ETF (NTHM:TSX), reshapes the fund’s themes.
The rebalance brings GLP-1 weight loss drug manufacturers and midstream energy into the index, while battery technology and storage, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) themes are removed.
After the update, the GLP-1 weight loss drug manufacturers theme represents 14.4% of NTHM across 18 holdings, with major pharmaceutical companies anchoring the allocation.
The companies cited include Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk, AstraZeneca, Roche, and Gilead Sciences, and the article notes that an Amplify Weight Loss Drug & Treatment ETF (THNR) is also available for more targeted U.S. exposure, with a 0.6% expense ratio.
