Aster DM Quality Care rallies nearly 24% YTD as Motilal Oswal turns bullish

Motilal Oswal Financial Services has turned bullish on Aster DM Quality Care, a hospital stock that is up almost 24% year-to-date, even as broader market sentiment remains weak amid the US-Iran conflict and elevated crude oil prices, according to LiveMint Markets.
The brokerage expects 20% upside in a base case, while a bull case could lift the stock by as much as 46% from its current level. In a bear case, Motilal Oswal sees 8% downside.
LiveMint Markets reports the stock has gained nearly 24% YTD compared with the Sensex, which is down more than 14% over the same period. Over the last year, Aster DM Quality Care has risen about 20%, hitting a 52-week high of ₹890.95 on 10 August, after a 52-week low of ₹519.80 on 4 February.
On a monthly basis, the stock is down about 1% so far in September after an 8% decline in August, the outlet said. The article also notes the company was formed after the merger of Aster DM Healthcare and Quality Care India.
