Defend American Jobs PAC spends $11.4 million on Ohio Senate ads
The PAC, tied to Fairshake and backed by crypto interests, reported the ad spending in an FEC filing.
Fairshake-linked Defend American Jobs PAC has reported spending $11.4 million on media in Ohio’s US Senate race, backing Republican Jon Husted and opposing Democrat Sherrod Brown, according to a Federal Election Commission filing cited by Cointelegraph.
The spending was reported as part of the PAC’s efforts associated with the Fairshake group, which Cointelegraph says is backed largely by crypto industry interests and affiliated with Coinbase and Ripple Labs.
Cointelegraph also notes that Fairshake had pledged an initial $30 million on media opposing the Democratic candidate in the race, describing the effort as similar to crypto-industry spending in 2024.
