OKX US to sell Grid and Smart Portfolio bot positions after Sept. 30

The exchange says Grid and Smart Portfolio positions tied to affected USD pairs will be sold if traders do not cancel bots and open orders before the retirement window on Sept. 30.

OKX US plans to cancel open orders and shut down trading bots left on certain USD trading pairs when it retires those order books on Sept. 30, according to a US customer notice reported by CryptoSlate.

The exchange said positions in its Grid and Smart Portfolio bots on the affected pairs will be sold if users do not act, while traders are told to cancel open USD-pair orders, stop those bots, and recreate them on the corresponding USDC pairs.

CryptoSlate reports that the relevant USDC pairs have been available alongside the affected USD pairs since Sept. 23, giving users a parallel window to migrate their strategies.

OKX US said the old order books will be retired between 3 and 4 a.m. Eastern time on Sept. 30, with the affected USD pairs delisted at 8 a.m. UTC, and that all remaining orders and bots or automated trades on those USD pairs will be canceled.
