SBI Funds Management targets Dubai and deeper India after IPO
The asset manager said it is focusing on post-IPO compliance and risk management, while also citing investor interest in cities such as Rajkot, Indore and Coimbatore.
SBI Funds Management is looking beyond traditional Indian urban centers after its public listing, aiming to expand toward overseas hubs such as Dubai and deeper domestic markets including B100 cities, according to LiveMint.
In remarks tied to the firm’s IPO outreach, SBI Funds Management’s managing director and CEO Debasish Mishra said cities such as Rajkot, Indore and Coimbatore saw encouraging investor interest.
The fund house also plans to move into a next phase centered on strengthening post-IPO compliance and risk management, alongside business development.
Mishra said obtaining the appropriate fund management license in Dubai would help make the business more structured.
