Anthropic files for IPO that could value it above $2 trillion
The filing shows revenue jumped 1,088% in 2025 to $4.59 billion, and co-founders plan to hold 50.1% voting power on key decisions.
Anthropic, the Claude developer, has confidentially filed for an initial public offering that could value the company at more than $2 trillion, according to a Reuters review of the prospectus cited by CryptoSlate.
The IPO is now expected after the November US midterm elections. The filing also outlines Anthropic’s rapid expansion but notes it requires enormous spending commitments while its founders retain control over major corporate decisions.
The company said its seven co-founders plan to exercise 50.1% of voting power on key matters through a special Founder LLC and Class F share, and Anthropic cautioned that decisions under that structure could conflict with ordinary shareholders' financial interests.
CryptoSlate also highlighted that Anthropic’s revenue jumped 1,088% in 2025 to $4.59 billion as businesses and developers increased their use of Claude.
