Bitget CEO says recovering $388M breach funds is uncertain

Gracy Chen said only a small share of the funds had been frozen or recovered, and cited the 2025 Bybit hack as a reference point.

Cointelegraph reports that Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said she is not very optimistic about recovering funds tied to a $388 million security breach.

Chen described the 2025 Bybit hack as a “good reference point” for Bitget’s situation, suggesting it provides context for recovery expectations.

According to Cointelegraph, Chen said only a small percentage of the affected funds had been frozen or recovered at the time of her remarks.
