Canada’s GDP was unchanged in July, Statistics Canada said
Canada’s economy was flat in July, with GDP unchanged month-on-month at 0.0%, according to Statistics Canada’s advanced estimate as summarized by Action Forex.
The report said that half of industries registered growth, while overall goods and services production was unchanged for the month.
In the goods sector, construction rose 1.3% month-on-month and utilities increased 1.7%, but manufacturing fell 0.9%.
