Fed and FDIC publish feedback letters for 15 banks’ resolution plans
The FDIC and Federal Reserve said none of the 15 banks’ October 2025 resolution plan submissions showed shortcomings, and noted BNP Paribas’ 2021 issue was addressed.
The Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation published feedback letters for resolution plans submitted in October 2025 by 15 banking organizations.
In the agencies’ joint review, they said they did not identify any shortcomings or deficiencies in those resolution plan submissions.
The letters cover plans, also called living wills, that describe a banking organization’s strategy for orderly resolution if it faces material financial distress or failure.
The agencies also said a shortcoming previously identified in the 2021 BNP Paribas resolution plan has been satisfactorily addressed.
