The Defiant reports that Modveon has unveiled El Salvador’s Sivar app for dollar transfers on Base.

According to The Defiant, the government-backed app uses self-custodial wallets.

The outlet also says the app’s $2 cross-border processing fee is separate from any funding and cash-withdrawal charges.
