NHC Foods shares rise 5% after shareholders approve 20-fold capital jump
The stock reached a day high of ₹1.75 on BSE, following shareholder approval of a 20-fold increase in authorized share capital at the Sept. 25 AGM.
NHC Foods shares rose about 5% in intraday trading on Tuesday, reaching a day high of ₹1.75 per share on BSE.
The move came after shareholders approved a 20-fold increase in the company’s authorized share capital at its 34th Annual General Meeting held on September 25, 2026, according to a regulatory filing dated September 27.
The announcement drew attention even as broader markets were weak, with the Nifty index touching an intraday low of 21,064 and the BSE Sensex falling more than 1,800 points across two sessions, according to the report.
For context, the stock had hit a 52-week high of ₹2.84 earlier this month and a 52-week low of ₹0.59 in March 2026, the outlet noted.
