U.S. homeowners hold record housing equity but are not spending it

CNBC reports that U.S. homeowners have built housing wealth to record levels, supported by fast-rising home prices over the last several years.

The outlet also says homeowners are not using that increased equity much, as spending from this wealth remains limited.
