Cboe renews S&P 500 options rights through 2051, enabling tokenized pairing
The renewed agreement keeps Cboe’s exclusive rights to S&P 500 index options until 2051.
Cboe has renewed an agreement covering its exclusive rights to S&P 500 index options through 2051, while also making room for pairing the benchmark options with blockchain infrastructure, according to Decrypt.
The arrangement is intended to open the door to tokenized options built around the flagship S&P 500 index options product, the outlet said.
