Cupid shares hit record high after Nifty Smallcap 250 inclusion
The stock climbed above ₹309.15 on Wednesday, and brokerage estimates cited potential inflows of about $10 million after the index change.
Small-cap stock Cupid surged more than 7% on Wednesday, September 30, reaching a record high of ₹309.15 on the BSE.
The rally followed the companys entry into the Nifty Smallcap 250 index as part of the National Stock Exchanges latest semi-annual rejig, with the change effective from September 30, according to LiveMint Markets.
The article also noted the steep recent momentum: the shares gained around 60% over the past three months, 267% over six months, about 200% since the start of the year, and 609% over one year.
Domestic brokerage estimates cited by LiveMint Markets suggested Cupid could attract inflows of roughly $10 million after the inclusion, after the company recently raised its financial guidance for FY27, citing strong quarterly performance, a healthy order pipeline and continued momentum.
