Eli Lilly plans Phase 3 for combo obesity regimen later this year

Eli Lilly said it expects to begin Phase 3 trials on a combination obesity regimen by the end of the year, adding its amylin drug eloralintide to tirzepatide, according to CNBC Markets.

The company also pointed to mid stage trial results, saying the regimen boosted weight loss in that ongoing study, CNBC Markets added.
