IndianOil, Sanofi India among firms with volatile dividend payouts
Sanofi India cut its dividend to ₹123 per share in FY26 from ₹167 in FY24, while Indian Oil’s payout swung between ₹7 and ₹12 over the same period.
LiveMint Markets highlighted several dividend-paying Indian companies where payouts have varied over the last three financial years, noting that investors seeking steady income may be disappointed by volatility.
The outlet cited Sanofi India’s dividend per share falling to ₹123 in FY26 from ₹167 in FY24, and also pointed to a decline to ₹117 in FY25. It also said Sanofi India’s shares closed marginally lower at ₹3,054 per share on BSE on Wednesday.
LiveMint Markets also referenced Indian Oil Corporation’s fluctuating dividend pattern, saying the company paid ₹7 per share in FY26 and ₹12 per share in FY24.
The article added that other firms, including UTI AMC, have also seen dividend fluctuations over the period it reviewed.
