Open USD plans to distribute most equity to partners over time

CEO Zach Abrams said the “overwhelming majority” of Open Standard equity will go to partners based on their stablecoin growth contributions.

CoinDesk reports that Open Standard, the group behind the Open USD stablecoin, plans to distribute most of its equity to partners over time.

According to CEO Zach Abrams, the “overwhelming majority” of the equity will be allocated based on how much each partner helps grow the stablecoin.

Abrams said this payout approach is designed around the role partners play in expanding Open USD’s use, with equity distribution linked to partner impact.
