Paramount’s debt sale highlights how higher yields affect corporate borrowers
Higher bond yields are making it harder for corporate America to tap new funding, a theme that surfaced around Paramount’s large debt sale, according to MarketWatch.
Invesco’s Matt Brill said Invesco expects near term bond supply to fall off unless a borrower has to raise funds, tying the market change to the cost pressure from higher yields.
