Crypto fundraising returns, but valuations and premiums lag
Kalshi is reportedly seeking $1 billion at a $40 billion valuation, nearly double its May valuation.
Crypto companies are raising billions again, but investors are not paying premiums as broadly as during the last boom, according to Cointelegraph.
Kalshi is reportedly seeking $1 billion at a $40 billion valuation, nearly twice what it was worth in May.
At the same time, Blockchain.com is preparing for an initial public offering at a potential $6 billion valuation, far below the $14 billion valuation it drew during the last crypto boom, Cointelegraph said.
The outlet also noted that among digital asset treasury companies, only four of the 20 largest still trade above the value of their crypto holdings.
