Frisco planning board clears Trader Joe’s, senior living project
The 9.4-acre development would include a 12,500-square-foot Trader Joe’s and a 158-unit senior living facility, with the town council vote expected next week.
Frisco’s planning board has approved a Trader Joe’s-anchored mixed-use development, according to Community Impact.
The proposed project would cover 9.4 acres at the southwest corner of Majestic Gardens Drive and Main Street, splitting 3.22 acres for a 12,500-square-foot Trader Joe’s site and 6.18 acres for a 158-unit senior living facility.
Community Impact reports that the development was initially zoned for retail, office and single-family residential uses, and that the Trader Joe’s store and the senior living facility would be built in a single phase.
Next week, the town council is scheduled to vote on the plan.
