Man beaten in home robbery after being threatened over crypto savings

BBC Business reports a businessman was attacked with hammers by masked men who broke into his home and threatened to kill his heavily pregnant wife unless he transferred hundreds of thousands of pounds of cryptocurrency.

The outlet says the attackers left after a getaway driver took them away and that police are investigating, with Crimestoppers offering a £10,000 reward for information.
