Texas Stock Exchange starts corporate listings with major transfers

Energy Transfer, Dillard's, and Texas Capital Bancshares move listings to TXSE in October as the exchange ramps up after launching live trading in July.

MarketBeat Ratings reports that the Texas Stock Exchange is beginning a rollout of corporate listings this October, creating a structural challenge to the long term dominance of the NYSE and Nasdaq.

The publication says Energy Transfer, Dillard's, and Texas Capital Bancshares are among the companies moving their listings to TXSE, and the shift is being framed as a test of whether lower issuer costs and localized allegiance can reshape where equities trade.

MarketBeat Ratings adds that the TXSE started live trading in July, followed by its first exchange traded product, or ETP, listings in September, and it is actively courting established equities away from legacy platforms.

The outlet also notes that TXSE closed a funding round in September 2026, bringing its total capitalization to about $430 million, a pool it says supports the market making infrastructure needed for large cap trading volumes.
