Kai Tak Hospital opens family medicine centre in phased rollout
Hong Kong health authorities said on-site staff and a dedicated hotline will support patients dealing with booking and transport questions as the hospital expands its services.
Hong Kong health authorities will bolster support for patients visiting Kai Tak Hospital as the city’s largest public hospital begins a phased opening, including deploying on-site staff and running a dedicated hotline for booking and transport queries, according to SCMP Economy.
From Monday, the hospital’s family medicine integrated centre will begin operations, while specialist outpatient services and automated features in its blood-taking services are scheduled to start in late October.
Kai Tak Hospital chief executive Dr Eric Cheung Fuk-chi, cluster chief executive of Kowloon Central, said services will be rolled out in a gradual approach, as reported by SCMP Economy.
