Procure Space ETF dips in September but posts gains over 12 months
The Procure Space ETF (UFO) fell 2.8% in September, but climbed about 16% over the trailing 12 months, supported by a 181.7% September surge in Sky Perfect JSAT and a 40.3% gain in Frequency Electronics.
ETF Trends reports that the Procure Space ETF (UFO) showed resilience in September and beyond, even after the fund declined 2.8% during the month.
According to the outlet, UFO was up about 9% year to date and more than 16% over the trailing 12 months, with gains attributed to select performers in Media & Communications and Technology holdings.
ETF Trends said Sky Perfect JSAT Corp. was the largest positive contributor, rising 181.7% in September and adding 2.32% to the ETF’s overall performance.
The outlet also highlighted Frequency Electronics Inc., which gained 40.3% in September after its landmark fiscal first quarter, when it reported 70% year-over-year revenue growth to $23.5 million and a record funded backlog of $129 million.
