Zcash advocacy group registers a Washington lobbying push
The lobbying registration became effective Oct. 1 and names the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act plus two digital asset tax proposals among its policy targets.
A Zcash-focused advocacy group has registered a Washington lobbying operation to push US policy affecting digital assets, Cointelegraph reports.
The lobbying registration, effective Oct. 1, lists executive director Divij Pandya as the group’s sole lobbyist, according to the filing described by the outlet.
The registration names the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act and two digital asset tax proposals among its current and anticipated lobbying issues, Cointelegraph said.
Cointelegraph added that the group launched in June, building on a prior effort called Pretty Good Policy for Crypto that began in 2022 by Electric Coin C.
