Aave nears a $67M collateral rollover as Pendle yields reset
TokenLogic says active AUSD loans on Aave jumped 113% to $8.7 million in 15 days, while user deposits rose to $11.2 million as the Pendle principal tokens approached their Oct. 8 maturity.
Aave is approaching a $67 million collateral rollover as a fast-growing fixed-yield position reaches maturity, with about 67.4 million PT-AUSD-8OCT2026 tokens supplied as collateral on Aave V3’s Monad market as of Oct. 2, according to risk adviser LlamaRisk, as detailed by CryptoSlate.
Pendle’s principal tokens mature Oct. 8, when they become redeemable for one AUSD and the fixed-yield appreciation ends, with a replacement already being prepared. Pendle deployed a Dec. 17 AUSD principal-token market last month, and TokenLogic proposed listing it on Aave so borrowers can roll into the next maturity without losing the collateral utility that helped expand the October market.
The update also cites momentum in AUSD lending on Aave on Monad, with TokenLogic saying that active AUSD loans jumped 113% to $8.7 million from $4.1 million over 15 days as user deposits more than doubled to $11.2 million. CryptoSlate frames this as a developing cycle between Pendle’s fixed-yield markets and Aave’s lending infrastructure, enabling users to lock returns and then move into later-dated terms after maturity.
