The proposed fund, sponsored by Winklevoss Asset Services, would charge a 0.25% annual sponsor fee and plan to hold ZEC directly with Gemini Trust Company as custodian.

Winklevoss-backed sponsors have filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed Zcash exchange-traded fund intended to track Zcash’s price.

The fund would hold ZEC directly, with Gemini Trust Company serving as custodian for the ETF’s ZEC holdings, and it is seeking to list on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the ticker WINK.

According to the filing, Winklevoss Asset Services would sponsor the fund, the proposal would charge a 0.25% annual sponsor fee, and it would not use leverage or derivatives to meet its investment objective.

The filing also indicates Winklevoss Capital affiliates are eyeing up to $100 million for the proposed product.
