Aave seeks emergency hearing to challenge restraining order

The hearing scheduled for Wednesday could determine whether relatives of a slain minister are entitled to $71 million in crypto tied to a Kelp DAO recovery fund.

Aave LLC has filed an emergency motion to challenge what it described as a catastrophic restraining order, and a hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday, according to DL News.

DL News says the case centers on a crypto recovery fund connected to the April 18 Kelp DAO hack, where funds were earmarked to compensate people affected by the incident.

The outlet reports that the Wednesday emergency hearing could decide whether relatives of a slain minister are entitled to $71 million in crypto held under the recovery arrangement.

DL News also notes that people owed money by North Korea are seeking the crypto that was nearly stolen in the April 18 Kelp DAO hack.
