Cardano launches programmable token standard with issuer controls
The standard lets issuers set rules that can include freezing and forced transfers, requiring integration updates for wallets, DEXs, and lending protocols.
Cardano has launched a programmable token standard that is designed to work with issuer-selected rules, according to The Defiant.
Wallets, decentralized exchanges, and lending protocols need integration changes to support the assets under the new standard.
The issuer-selected rules can allow capabilities such as freezing and forced transfers, the outlet said.
