Sebi extends IPO issue-size flexibility without extra compliance until 2027
The regulator had earlier capped the allowed issue-size change at 50% for fresh issues opened before 30 September.
India's market regulator Sebi has extended temporary relief for IPO issuers, allowing them to change the issue size without triggering additional regulatory compliance requirements until March 2027, according to LiveMint Markets, citing people familiar with the development and a document it reviewed.
The relief follows an April decision that permitted issuers to increase or decrease their issue size by up to 50% without needing to file fresh draft offer documents.
Under Sebi's existing framework, a change of more than 20% in issue size would require filing fresh draft offer documents, according to the account described by LiveMint Markets, with the threshold rising to 50% for an OFS.
LiveMint Markets also said the April window applied to companies opening their public issues before 30 September.
