Trezor ends reseller authorizations after Ledger flags a wallet implant
The change takes effect January 1, 2027, after Ledger confirmed that some wallets sold by a Southeast Asian retailer had a hidden implant that transmitted users' recovery phrases.
Decrypt reports that Trezor will end reseller authorizations on January 1, 2027.
The company’s decision follows Ledger’s confirmation that wallets sold by a Southeast Asian retailer contained a hidden implant.
Decrypt says the implant sent out users’ recovery phrases, prompting Trezor to remove reseller authorization.
