FOMC minutes show split views on whether rates should move
Societe Generale says the SEP left the Fed divided, with some officials backing an unchanged stance and others favoring hikes.
FXStreet reports that Societe Generale’s Jan Groen said the June FOMC minutes reinforced a hawkish hold. The Summary of Economic Projections showed an even split between members who favored keeping rates unchanged or lower versus those who preferred rate hikes.
