U.S. crude and petroleum product exports hit record in April
Exports rose to 13.6 million barrels per day in April, 15% higher than the prior record set in March.
EIA reports that U.S. petroleum exports hit a record in April, reaching 13.6 million barrels per day. The agency attributes the increase to disruptions to international crude and refined product flows through the Strait of Hormuz, which boosted global demand for U.S. exports.
EIA says April exports were 15% higher than the previous record set in March.
