Venture Global lifts LNG liquefaction fees as Middle East disruption rises

Venture Global reported a 69% increase in its LNG liquefaction fees in the second quarter, bringing the rate to $6.45 per million British thermal units, up from $3.82 per mmBtu in the first quarter, OilPrice reported.

The company attributed the higher fees to war related disruption to LNG flows in the Middle East, with Reuters citing its regulatory filing showing it generated revenue tied to sales totaling 466.4 trillion thermal units.
