Hong Kong developers plan new home launches as price growth cools
Sun Hung Kai Properties will offer 120 flats at Garden Regency with maximum discounts of 16.0% and prices from HK$3.93 million.
Some of Hong Kong’s largest developers are preparing fresh residential launches this month as expectations build for a cooling in home price growth, according to SCMP Economy.
Sun Hung Kai Properties, the city’s largest developer by market capitalization, released a price list for 120 units at its Garden Regency project in Kam Tin North in the New Territories. The flats range from 289 square feet to 412 square feet, include one to four bedrooms, and come with maximum discounts of 16.0%, with prices set from HK$3.93 million (US$501,000) to HK$5.88 million.
Garden Regency is a three-tower project with 566 total units. Separately, Wheelock Properties is set to launch the first batch of units at Park Silicon in Kwu Tung North in the Northern Metropolis, a two-phase development with 781 flats and layouts ranging from one to three bedrooms, with two-bedroom units making up the majority.
